I noticed when we first looked at the Las Vegas, Nevada Temple that it looked strikingly similar to the temple where I served my mission in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Las Vegas Nevada Temple
Plans to construct the temple were announced 7 April 1984, Church
leaders broke ground 30 November 1985, and President Gordon B. Hinckley,
then a member of the First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-day Saints, dedicated the Las Vegas Nevada Temple 16 December
1989.
Johannesburg South Africa Temple
Plans to construct the temple were announced 1 April 1981, Church
leaders broke ground 27 November 1982, and President Gordon B. Hinckley,
then a counselor in the First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ
of Latter-day Saints, dedicated the Johannesburg South Africa Temple 24
August 1985.
