Hello Everyone! Thanks for stopping by my blog! My name is Alayna Nelson, but for now it's Hermana Nelson (don't tell, my first name is a secret). I am 20 years old and from a cute little town in Indiana known as Columbus. My backyard is a cornfield like stereotypical Indiana and I don't mind one bit, in fact, I love it and miss it so much! Before my mission I went to Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah for a year and was in an A Capella group. I have always enjoyed singing and playing the piano, reading books (I will be a Harry Potter fan 'til the day I die) and I love, love, love crafting. My favorite season is fall time and my favorite color is turquoise and I love my two kitties Blackey and Tiger. Up until now I have loved the French language and culture and have taken many French classes in high school and college,  but now my language of love is Spanish! I get to learn and then teach for the duration of my mission in Spanish and I am very excited about this! I have a wonderful family as you see below and I miss them all very much! I have been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ my whole life and I know it has made me a better person and I wouldn't be where I am today helping others find happiness was it not for my church! My mission lasts from October 2014- April 2016 and I know it is going to go by way too fast, but I hope you enjoy following along on this wonderful adventure of mine!
